Behaving like a yogi can make you a better skiier. Or a better golfer. Or tennis player. Or runner. Or anything else. Try this: whatever activity you are doing, be present. Be in the moment. Focus. And breathe. You will notice a difference. Not only will you be better at whatever you’re doing, you’ll enjoy yourself more fully. Try it.

Baby, it’s cold outside … but that’s no excuse to stay inside. Bundle up and go out for a walk. Once you start walking, you’ll warm up quickly, you’ll feel more energetic and your cheeks will be rosy!

I’ve just completed a 200 hour teacher training program at Shine Yoga where we concentrated on Anusara Yoga. After taking hundreds of hours of workshops at various Yoga studios and weeklong workshops with John Friend (creator of Anusara yoga) and taking a 2oo hour immersion at Shine, I have met the requirements to become a Certified Yoga Teacher. I’m very excited about all that I have learned over the years, especially at Shine and from all my wonderful teachers.
